Wow! What a great day you had. Your photos of the torch relay are beautiful, and I'm so grateful you shared them. What a wonderful time to be in China. I love Shafer's new toys, too. Space Man is very cool! My kids would be jealous, they would love a Children's Day. (Which is every day, in reality!)

I love, particularly, the crowding around Schäfer while feeding the birds. So funny. I remember being in China with my blond haired, blue eyed friend and having people follow us around or stop and "enjoy" our conversation with us.
And that Robot toy is great. I might have to get my hands on one of those some time.

Sandra - Great coverage of the Olympic Torch - and a day in the life of Schafer (which always bring a smile - especially dancing with the frog)! I love your blog - makes me feel like I'm almost back in China. We too experienced the Chinese paparazzi and I have it well documented!
